In Shadowshopper’s system I purposely set my account to not auto renew because I did not want to pay for Shadowshopper’s Gold level membership after t In Shadowshopper’s system I purposely set my account to not auto renew because I did not want to pay for Shadowshopper’s Gold level membership after the 1 month trial was over. On October 6, 2015, I went over my credit card bill and discovered that my account showed a $29.95 charge from Shadowshopper. I immediately(same day)contacted Jonathan at Shadowshopper asking for a refund of the charge and he said I had selected the auto-renew option and that and that I could not be refunded; also he said and that I was calling after the auto renew date which happened to also be on October 6th. I told him that I definitely had not selected that option in their system but he said I must have. I immediately asked him to cancel my membership which he did on that same day but I was never issued a refund. I found that others had also been victims of being automatically renewed and billed when they had not selected that option.
